The app
Sluggish collects no data. It has no analytics, no crash reporting of its own, and no account. It makes no network connections of its own.
- It reads the list of running processes, memory, disk space and heat on your Mac, only when you open the panel. The result stays on your Mac.
- If you allow it, it reads the addresses of your open browser tabs to find duplicates. The addresses stay on your Mac.
- On macOS 26 and later, an Apple model on your Mac writes one line about an unknown process. Nothing leaves your Mac.
- If you turn on the developer setting for pull request titles, Sluggish runs the GitHub command-line tool on your Mac, which asks GitHub with your own login. This setting is off by default.
- Your license key is checked on your Mac, with no network call.
